September 21 at Flex Yoga + Barre (6920 E 23rd Ave Denver, CO 80207)  Kaitlin Lombardi Teaching to music by DJ Nikaveli!

Kaitlin found her mat while she was a junior at CU-Boulder attempting to nurse some sports injuries. When she first stepped onto her yoga mat over 10 years ago, it wasn’t love at first downward dog. Over time she started to listen to her guides about letting her mind go, so her breath could take over, and the rest is history. Unable to sit still for long periods of time, Kaitlin found meditation in movement, and she incorporates a lot of movement into her classes! In her day job, she works with children that are blind and visually impaired. She loves learning from her students, skiing, traveling, and spending time with the ones she loves.

For me - Music is my life - it's all about the mood and hypnotic groove - most times you don't even realize your nodding your head, tapping your feet - feeling it!

October 5 at  Movement RiNo  (3201 Walnut Street, Denver, CO 80205)  Andrew Fraser Teaching to music by Christian Mendoza!

Andrew’s class is not only a physically engaging exercise but a transformative journey into Self and what it means to be human. Expect insightful themes and Dharma talks, integrative alignment, and powerful postures. After practicing awhile with Andrew, you will progressively develop the strength, balance, and skill required for beautifully expressive and advanced peak poses. Not only that, but students will also begin to experience a cultured confidence that translates to performance in their lives off the mat. As students develop strength and safe alignment practices in the flow of asana, they also cultivate a mental fortitude and state of mindfulness that brings peace to stress and calm to chaos. Andrew is a Denver native who loves to share his passions for movement, nutrition, and adventure with others. When not on the mat, you can find him smiling waist-deep in snow, flying his wingsuit through the clouds, and camping under the stars. Andrew is also MC+F RiNo’s Managing Director.

December 14 at Yoga Pod Denver West (14500 W Colfax Dr #131A Lakewood, CO 80401) Alex Sandoval Teaching!

Alex stumbled into a local yoga studio in 2014, looking for freedom from stress and bad habits that were causing problems in his life. He soon found that the hours he spent on the mat were the best moments of his day, and began attending classes as much as possible and practicing at home when he couldn't make it to the studio. Yoga became his lifeboat during two years of radical personal upheaval and positive transformation, and Alex credits the practice for changing and saving his life. He considers it his life mission to share his passion for the practice with as many people as possible. Operating from the belief that yoga is an all inclusive source of healing, and if you can breath you can find the shapes that fit you, Alex strives to teach classes with an emphasis on self compassion, self study, mindful attention to detail, and a meditative awareness of the link between breath, energetic patterns in the body, and resulting ability to take the yoga out of the studio and live life heart forward. He feels honored, blessed and humbled to be able to teach, and absolutely loves talking about yoga and life with his students.

February 22 at Kindness Yoga (South Broadway 1947 S Broadway Denver, CO 80223)  Kiayan Reuter and John Cargile Teaching with DJ Jahsonic!

After a very heated round of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” as a child, Kiayan Reuter had found her calling. Since life is all about being flexible, both physically and mentally, she knew her challenge would be bringing that lesson not only to herself but others. She is a proud lifelong learner and believes that personal growth should always be on the agenda. Growing up as a runner, Kiayan knew that training your brain is just as important as training your body. The practice of yoga is just as much about strengthening your body, as it is about learning how to be comfortable in your own mind. Handstands and backbends are impressive to watch but witnessing the calm positive energy a person exudes when sitting in sukasana is magical. Kiayan is 500 hour certified from Yoga Works Los Angeles. After practicing for over a decade in Denver's yoga community, John started teaching at Kindness Yoga 2013. His classes deliver a recipe of equal parts: breath, alignment, community and fearlessness. With a heavy emphasis on balancing postures, his vinyasa flow is driven by the breath and supported by others in the room. He has studied with many yoga visionaries over the years and follows the path set out by Sri Dharma Mittra. But most of his teachers are the students in the room and his four kids who help him every day on the path of the middle way.

Light, loving, and judgment free I create an environment where my students can authentically be themselves. When attending my class you can expect a variety of grounded flows that will challenge you both mentally and physically. Using music as my tool I aim to influence my students towards a moving meditation to help connect inward. I have found both physical and mental benefits through the cadence of breath and movement and love to share my passion with others.
