November 17 at buka yoga

We are excited to be at Castle Rocks latest and greatest yoga studio Buka Yoga. Brooke Page-Thompson is teaching a Hatha Flow Class!

Brooke is the owner and founder of Buka Yoga. After having spent 15 years in the consulting and corporate world, Brooke found yoga at a place she would call rock bottom in her career and life. Not really knowing what to do, she went on a retreat with a friend...and her life was changed. She had no idea the power of feeling her body in poses, of going inward and listening to her breath how calming her mind would start to become. 2 years later, she decided to enter into her 200 RYT hours program through One Yoga and graduated July 18, 2017. This is now a lifelong journey of learning, connecting and inner growth that she loves sharing with others and learning from them. She loves teaching yoga and creating space for others. She teach various classes...Hatha, Restorative and Yoga Nidra...all focused on breath and alignment. Come join her on this amazing adventure! She holds a BA in Elementary Education and an MS in Leadership. She hosts women's retreats 3 times a year.

december 15 at Passion Force

The last event of 2019 is at Passion Force! Elizabeth Marberryn is teaching an all-levels vinyasa class!

I have been passionate about movement my entire life. As a child, dance was my outlet of expression and as I grew older, I felt most free and alive when I moved my body. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. My professional dance credits include performing internationally in India, France and Japan, and I was a featured dancer for Holland America Cruise Lines. I also had the privilege of performing for many small dance companies based in NYC and Chicago. I can’t pinpoint the exact time I fell in love with Yoga. I was first drawn to it as a form of exercise but was completely taken when I discovered the meditative and mindfulness aspects that are Yoga. Throughout my life I have struggled with stress, depression and anxiety. Yoga provided me a sanctuary where I could still my mind and tune in to my body and soul. I was proud to receive my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Soul Tree in Lafayette, Colorado. In August 2018, a lifelong dream of mine manifested when I opened up PASSION FORCE. We are a yoga and dance studio for adults in the heart of Denver. Our mission is to provide an encouraging environment where every BODY is welcome. This is a body positive, judgment-free zone where every level of student is welcomed with open arms. I'm happy and grateful you are here and I look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

January 19 at Rooted heart Yoga & wellness

The first event of 2020 is at Rooted Heart Yoga & Wellness! Hannah Anderson is teaching an all-levels vinyasa class!

Hannah came to yoga via the recommendation of college dance professor who suggested that the asana would be a valuable and complementary practice to her then-budding professional dance career. While the physical benefits were amazing, she quickly learned there was so much more to this practice than just the yoga body. It is this mind-body connection and experience that led her to pursue a yoga teacher training. She completed her 200-hour RYT in New York City at Pure Yoga Studio in 2014. She then continued her education at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, completing 300 hours RYT, with emphasis on Self-Awakening Yoga© and a massage technique called Pranassage©. She has also completed 100 hours of Ashtanga training in New York City under the instruction of Scott Harig and most recently a level one Yin training under Kari Kwin in Denver. In her classes, Hannah hopes to still the ever-running mind and encourage an exploration of what it truly means to be present through moving the body in experienced, honest, and informed flows.
